Game on!

It has been about...oh 3 months since I stopped working out as much as I did. I sure was on a roll, you could have called me butter! Except, I cut out butter from my diet....anywho..But somewhere between going on vacation and all of life's on goings, I somehow lost the motivation.

A little catch up, since the last time I published my stats I was at 134lbs and it was right after I completed the 30 day shred with Jillian Michaels. I then moved on to Beach Body's Turbo Fire and Insanity.

Here are the stats I posted last in Feb after 30DS, and here are my current stats now on my new journey.

So as you can see, I made some nice progress since the last time I posted.

I passed my goal of being 125lbs, not meaning to, I just aimed to be healthy and never thought I'd end up below that. So, as of right now, I have no new "goal" weight. I will be happy with whatever my weight as long as I am healthy and working out. When I start adding back a lot of muscle, I foresee my scale going upward since it weighs more. And I am A-ok with that. My measurements are my concern as well as my body fat.

So On demand, Exercise TV, they added this 6 week program called the Butt Bible. Funny name I admit, and almost feel embarrassed saying/typing it. Ok, I am embarrassed saying/typing it LOL, so I will be referring to it as BB from now on. Anyway, I started this on Monday. Go to here to check it out BB workout info

My thoughts so far, I am only on day 4, but I have to say I love the lower workout already. It left me burning that day well into the next. It's easy enough for beginners, and people getting back at it like me. But you have to SQUUUEEEEEZE to feel it. If you just do the motions, you won't get anything out of it. And she is pretty funny to listen to.

It is 6 workouts, Lower 1, 2, and 3, and Upper 1, 2, and 3. I have only done Lower 1 twice and Upper 1 once. The Upper 1 is...meh.....not hard at all. You use your weights and do some arm workouts and then you end with some abs. Simple crunches and some side planks, my fav!

I really need to take starting pictures again, I am hoping to have a nice boo-tay in 6 weeks! Anyone else want to jump on board? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Come Monday I plan on putting back in some Turbo Fire and Insanity back into my life. Oh how I missed the HIIT workouts. Though I did my own at the gym on the elliptical on Tuesday that darn near killed me! WOAH!

In other news, today is my last day for this term at school. Yup, I started school back up, man I really need to blog more.

My daughters are growing up and getting so smart. Sass is 3.5 yrs old and a little pistol, and Sprout is 13 months old and talking up a storm. Not a lot of English yet, but she is fluent in Sproutish. She is getting in three teeth at a time, and handling it like a champ. I wouldn't even know she was teething if I didn't see them coming in.

A lot of changes are coming to this household, I am going to do a new look on this blog as well and try and keep up. I have lots of ideas, and I think I will now have more time on my hands to devote to it. I may not have been blogging much on here, but I have been keeping my own hand written journal here lately. It is such a stress reliever.

Anyway, I am off for now, Sass wants me to "fly her into the sky" as she says. In other words, I lie on my back and lift her in the air with my feet and/or legs. She loves this game. Bye all!

I am a horrible blogger

I am not sure what it is, but I always have GREAT intentions of keeping up with this blog, and then I feel so sad that a lot of memories were lost because I was not diligent with keeping up with it. So I am going to just jump right in again.....I hate that there are such huge gaps missing...so much info could have been accounted for. But no sense on dwelling, I can't get that time back, and I can't even be certain I will keep up with it again after this post. :( Sad isnt it? So much has been going on here, I need to try though and blog more than I do....I know my girls will appreciate it when they are older. I know it would be cool if I could look back on little pieces of my life when I was growing up, I hope they will enjoy it as well.

Well...thats all for this post, I wanted to write about the 4th of July, but I think I will make it a separate post. :)

Fix it Friday-11 Feb 11

I haven't done a fix it Friday in some time now, so I wanted to participate in this weeks.

If you are not sure what I am talking about, or would like to submit your edit, go to their website by clicking the button below!

For my edit, I used Photoshop CS5

ORIGINAL

 MY EDIT

How I edited this pic.

First I fixed the exposure by using curves and levels. No real way except I fiddled with the sliders till it looked good to me. :)

I then used Olive Juices's FREE Sharpen This action, inside the action is a clarity action, and I used that.

I then used MCP's action Bag of Tricks and used the Black Spell action in that set to select the background to make it darker.

I then slightly lightened the eyes using a levels layer mask and then sharpened them.

I then did a Black and White where I was able to tweak the colors until it looked how I liked.

I did a contrast layer and lowered the opacity to taste.

Cropped Photo

I then finished the pic using Olive Juices resize and sharped for web action.

Go stop by I heart faces for your turn!
